In this quick video I talk about my new 60 minute lesson on sculpting a strong male face. In this lesson we take the basic forms and begin to breath life into them again using reference and little texturing tricks. The goal of using reference is not to create a portrait but to use the imagery to trigger things in my knowledge of anatomy, form, and emotion.
A great way to look at this lesson is as a challenge to hack into your own knowledge and push yourself forward with out the expectations of portrait work.
This lesson also includes the ZBrush project with all UNDO history so you can review every step of the sculpting process.
Hope you enjoy and let me know on Facebook how I’m doing!
